The Lenovo "U310" computers are super fast and very ligh weight. To feed them properly you should have between 8GB to 12GB of memory as recommended by THEGreenBox Inc.
Most of the systems come pre-installed with 4GB in a single slot. These systems have only one replaceable slots so you can put in one new DIMM and a max of 12GB so we only support adding one 8GB DIMM.
Note: (Super Note) - The U310 is technically "sealed" so opening up the case to even put in the extra memory techncially violates the warrenty. For our normal clients, we readily do this and will help with Lenovo and future repairs as we feel this is a "design decision flaw". However, you will have to sign a waiver that warrenty is being voided if we do the installation (extra).
Note: We recommend > 4GB memory on all 64-bit windows installations as of 2013, both client and Server.
