Creating a Building-to-Building Connection
Using the HOW17ACM Hawking Outdoor Wireless-1750AC Managed Access Point Pro and the Hi-Gain Outdoor Wireless-N Smart Repeater (HOW2R1), you'll be able to carry signal from between two buildings. Unlike most AP / Bridge products, the HOW17ACM is not only built to withstand the elements, but also transmit at the fastest Wireless-AC speeds. Hawking recommends that you use the Access Point (AP) mode. This will broadcast the signal for the HOW2R1 to pick up. The HOW2R1 is also built with a weatherproof exterior and, like the HOW17ACM, is packed with features found only in Hawking Products. The HOW2R1 is engineered with two Wi-Fi radios, one radio for picking up signals from your wireless source or hotspot and one radio for repeating wireless signals. For added performance, the Outdoor Smart Repeater is designed with three antennas, one built-in antenna is dedicated to receiving wireless signals while the other two 5dBi external antennas are dedicated to rebroadcasting wireless signals throughout your surroundings. The HOW2R1 provides security and functionality via full router features.
